Students in GES 4750: Recreation, Tourism, and Environment recently teamed up with Rocky Mountain Field Institute (RMFI) and spent the afternoon performing trail restoration work near the UCCS Lori Cohen Trail adjacent to Austin Bluffs Open Space. A large portion of the afternoon's work was closing off erosion-prone social trails and reseeding them. The work was physically demanding but quite rewarding!
